The new rubber is still coming in....many orders have been sent, and the rest of the packages are ready to go as soon as I get delivery of goods. Crossing fingers everything is out of here before Friday.
I want to start the first crusade - because I have some cool Halloween stuff to give away. Make something spooky or funky or crazy with your new stamps - just a quick tag that has a Halloweeny feel to it. Post a comment here with a link to your entry on your blog, picturetrail, flickr....if you don't have a place to upload send me a scan and I'll post it on my yahoo group in the files. Enter as many times as you want. We'll put the names in a Top Hat and draw a winner October 27 so I can get the prize out before Halloween.
A note about the tags above - you can see I carved a few images to coordinate with the stamps. For the mask, I stamped the face on scratch paper, drew in the mask to fit, then transferred it to safety-kut and carved. For the tombstones, I thought they needed a colored background so I stamped them onto the safety-cut and carved around the images. Inking was done with orange, then rubbed along edge with black before stamping on tag. The detailed tombstones were then stamped over top. To get the collar around the heads, stamp first onto tag, then stamp again on post-it note. Cut out image on post-it note, place over face, stamp round flourish over top to make collar.

I posted my first Crusade on my blog http://encrepapier.blogspot.com/ I'm still getting used to the foam kneeling pad backing so I kept it simple.

I NEVER do blog challenges, but this one I couldn't resist :) It gave me all the excuse I needed to ignore all my other committments and play with my new GPP stamps straight away! You'll find my effort on my blog here: http://www.flo-space.blogspot.com.
While I'm here - does anyone know any internet mail order site that ships to England that sells the little clasps shown on the detail page for the Entrances sheet? I'm *desperate* to find some but they don't seem to exist here!

Michelle,
I LOVE your new line of stamps. I played with them the day I received them. Dinner.....boys, cook dinner for yourselves, I'm playing! Oh my, you've created the perfect ravens (I live in Raven country and just love them), I have been waiting for so long for some gorgeous ones to come out on rubber! Thank you so much!
My recent raven page is posted here, hope you all like it.

You have a yahoo group? Do tell! (I'm assuming this is something having to do exclusively with your art work???)

Meet "Skullie"! I'm pretty new to stamping but here is one of the tags I made with my new stamps! (I don't even have all of them cut out/mounted yet but I couldn't wait any longer to play!) http://static.flickr.com/117/279585829_78508b7084.jpg

Here's another tag I made with my new stamps! I'm only using acrylic paints (new to stamping) and still have a way to go to perfect my technique, but it was still fun making this!
