What's a Street Team?
A Street Team is not the same as a design team. There are no try-outs to be on the team. You can play as often as you like - every month, or when you feel inspired. There is no judging. It's all about having fun and sharing your work. The Crusades are prompts to challenge you to make cool stuff, then link here to your artwork on your own blog. There are prizes, but it's based on a draw from the Top Hat. Everyone can play and everyone has a chance to win. EDIT: Top Hat Picks and prizes have been eliminated to simplify my own life - participating is its own reward, you'll see.
Join us and in your comment add a link to your own page. We are building our own community here and anyone is welcome. When you hop around visiting the shared links be sure to leave a few words of encouragement. I think the world is becoming a smaller place as we find each other on the net....you'll see we have team players from all over the globe!
Don't have a website or blog to post your work? Get yourself a photo hosting account like flickr or photobucket (free!) and show us the link to your work.
There are no rules - and we even say you can enter the crusade by following the current prompt, or choose from any of the previous crusades, just label appropriately.
The music you're hearing is by HIM. It's a video player on the sidebar and can be stopped at your control. Have a listen and maybe you'll end up on their Street Team like I am, or if you're not interested simply turn down your speakers.
