I'm a sucker for punches. I won't even tell you how many drawers I have filled with them. Both Judi and Lisa picked up this Martha Stewart Graveyard punch for me....I have been waiting for it to come out but my store doesn't have them yet. How cool to have friends that look out for you *wink* (You can find them at Michaels.) It is a new format - still a border punch with the extended image there so you can line it up, but the extension folds up for easier storage. Speaking of that - the new EK punches have a fancy little button underneath so you can clip the top to lay flat. Makes it easier to get more in my drawer!
And can I get a *swoon* for those crosses? Especially that tiny one! (Found via ebay) They are going to be perfect for my Stairway to Heaven class in October.
I am inspired by this shirt I got for Fallon. The colors are glorious, and the random copper crosses really got my attention.
I'm off the Channel and Filter. (What's that? Channel the inspiration, then run through my Filters to Make It My Own on a journal page.)

wow, i especially love that graveyard punch!!
somehow i don´t have luck with punches... soon they get sticky and won´t function (yes, sandpaper, aluminium foil, all that tried to fix it...). but i don´t give up buying them;))

Martha must be like so lovin' you at the moment. I am off to Michaels to see if they have the grave yard. You, my dear Michelle, are such an enabler to me! AND I am headed for NYC on Friday-Sunday. I so love your photos from there when you visit. Your the best, can't wait to see you in October at the farm... xoxo

I'm always excited to see how you translate punch work into your journals, books and art.
You always add a:
"...wow, I never thought of THAT!!!!" aspect into the mix.
Lucky STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN students!...they get a double dose of YOU!!!!

Hey Michelle!
I also am a sucker for punches...just cannot pass them by without at least looking to see if there is something that I don't have that I need. I recently purchased several Martha Stewart Halloween punches, including the grave yard punch(I had been looking for it ever since you mentioned there would be one coming out)and the larger headstone. Have not seen the cross punches...I may have to go looking so I have my very own for the workshop.
Speaking of which, I have been starting to gather and pack up all my stuff for class...just cannot wait!!! I also noticed that Kathy has updated her site with your workshop dates of October 2 & 3 2010!! I best start saving my pennies again!!!
Until later,
Judy N

Oh, I love the special terms you have to lock in a process so we all know what it is! I must go 'Channel and Filter' (registered trademark) my past blog posts for the Knock Yourself Off challenge. I'm cutting it close, ain't I ?

You always find the coolest stuff. I can't wait to see the Martha Stewart Halloween goodies at Michaels. I like her stuff because they are more gothic than cute. I will have to look for the punch!

The punches and t-shirt both rock. Wow. I will be out shopping tonight (some last minute the night before the first day of school shop until you drop) -- can you hear my son groaning in the background? I think I'll have to swing by AC Moore when I'm at the mall. I love Halloween!
