This wasn't our biggest snowfall this year but it was definitely the heaviest. I've had requests to see it...especially from our Australian friends who are experiencing the polar opposite. I do love the change of seasons. Just wish it would change now ;)
The photos below were taken Wednesday night as it was coming down. Under that is from yesterday morning after we cleared it. More is on the way....I'm off to stock up on my french toast supplies.
I am loving the new judge line-up on Americal Idol. I already have two favorite performers...can't wait for Hollywood! Are you watching?

I am watching! I just started this week. I like Steven and Jennifer. Randy depends. He can be a little mean but Steven tries to be constructive and not nasty.

Greetings from Connecticut where we have nearly four feet of snow on the ground. *stomps snow from boots* Is it my imagination or is this more snow than the winters of 1977-78? I remember being startled at the amount of snow then, too.
As for Idol, we usually only watch the beginning and the final episode, but I am really liking the panel of judges. The biggest surprise is Steven Tyler. I had no idea he was so kind, smart, funny or insightful. He's really made it fun!

Hey Michelle...our turn is coming in WI tomorrow. They are forecasting over 2 feet of snow. We never get that much snow at one time. I guess hubby will have to stay home with the "kidlin" as us RN's aren't allowed to call off...we get in trouble if we do. Wish us all luck!! There really is a reason that snow is a four letter word!!! I hate snow. Hisses, Rockin Robin C

I just came back from New Jersey yesterday after taking my husband out there to spend a couple weeks with his sister. We live in Cleveland. We're used to lots of snow in Cleveland. But I have to say . . . I was blown away when I saw how much snow you have there! I've never seen "walls" of snow along the sides of the roads like I saw there this weekend! What I found interesting was people were of course talking about it but no one was really "complaining" about it.

When I see pictures like these it just blows my mind. I know we had lots of snow in Kansas City, and I remember the iced cars and the shoveling and running and sinking down into new snow, but I can't even imagine what it's like day to day any more. I bet there are lots of mixed-feeling periods!
