This entire spring break has been a jammie wearing lazy affair. Each day has been spent preparing the house book kits for etsy, and bagging and packaging socks. I finally began listing the kits this morning. There are several color combinations to choose from and soon there will be additional one-of-a-kind offerings. The socks didn't leave yet as I am expecting a few more arrivals. I'm so excited to launch these - hopefully tomorrow. Easter decorations? Oops. didn't get any up this year. *smacks head*
HAPPY EASTER!

Hey Michelle!
I knew you were not only a lucky girl but a busy one!
It was funny I went to your blog and just on chance went over to you etsy site and saw the kits were there (I have been checking almost daily), then when I went back to your blog there was your post! You must have been sending me vibes this morning!
I had a hard time deciding which kit to buy. It would have been a tough choice between the Florence and the Atlantis kit but since Altlantis was not available it made my choice just a little easier. They are all great!
Until later,
Judy

Oooh you're making it hard to decide which color kit I want! Crafty would suit my usual pallette, but they're all so pretty I might want to branch out... :)
I've still got to bag and tag my socks. Will report when I ship them off across the ocean...

Hi Michelle - I just wanted to tell you that I saw your original Socks for Japan post and ended up sending 45 pairs directly to Jason. I knew I would send you the money for shipping so decided to save you the trouble! Thanks so much for blogging about it. Although 45 pairs of socks isn't much - it was a lot more satisfying than the financial donations I make! I think it's fair for you to count the 45 pairs in with your donation since I wouldn't have done it without your inspiration!

Hi Michelle, do your house kits contain instructions, as I live on the other side of the world, I am unable to attend your workshops :(

Happy Easter Michelle! I'm sad that I've missed out on these house books -- they look awesomely cool but appear to be sold out. :(
I've also organized a small sock initiative but they are still sitting in my windowsill awaiting re-packing. Today is still a holiday in Germany and our out of town guests are showering while I sneak a few blog visits in.
Hope you and all the Crusaders have had a restful and joyous weekend. Although I posted about my wooden German Easter ornament collection, I will admit they sat in a basket and never got "put out" this year either! My bad!!!! Guess I'll just eat myself into a chocolate coma. xx tj

okay, I'm kind of a doof sometimes. The house kits aren't in the GPP shop, right? Am I in need of some pharmaceuticals (just forget behavior mod. because it's been tried over and over) ?
In lieu of that (nice for a stamp! "In lieu of something else." HA!) Anyway... in lieu of that, I have been looking at your rubber stamps, because they are like p*rn for me. LOOK at those things just shining over there. I hope you are going to make a sheet with only birdies, because I don't use eggs much even though they are pretty, and so is the text but I probably wouldn't use, but I love your Painted Ladies and your Crow About birdies in all their sizes and positions. Try to make this all happen for me, yes? But In the Round and Swag One and Two just MUST be in my studio. Can I send a check? Oh, I just thot of something, maybe the new kits are in Etsy? I think you have an Etsy shop. I'll look now.

NOTE to COMMENTORS: The preceeding is an example of how not to comment. Long silliness and questionable questions with favors included should be reserved for private email, or better yet, your journal. Don't waste all of the dozens of readers' times with your incredible mundanities. However, if you must expound with silliness in a comment, at least make sure to remind all those who read said silliness that there IS an ETSY shop, a GPP shop which offers scads of rubber sheets that are unequalled in their parallel, and that it sounds rude and impecunious to ask the stamp designer to make special sheets, when it's HARD enough to do all that carving all the time!
In my next comment, I will be asking Michelle to sell some of her journal page art.
of course I am!

I see by the Etsy and by the other comments, which are awfully short, that there WERE kits in the shop, yet, they are no longer there.
This is what happens when I hesitate to keep you on retainer.
p.s. I don't really know what impecunious means or if it's spelled right, but I can't look it up because I must go back to the GPP shop and look around some more.
