Some of our Halloween decorations. Very Poe-ish this year. Once upon a midnight dreary. Feels alot like that right now...heavy snow falling and tree branches dropping everywhere. No room on the sideboard for my Poe-inspired theater but I was revisiting photos this week so I'll show them here.
Somerset Studio will be hosting Poe themed art in the September/October 2012 issue. I'm already conjuring up a few projects. Why don't you consider submitting too? Due April 15. You'll be able to watch The Raven, opening March 9, in plenty of time to get inspired. Can't wait for this one!

So cool! I love your theater. I am finally moved and hoping to be back in the swing of creating soon.

Michelle-
OK, that didn't go so well....I'll try again...
I got Poe, literally...in the mail today. Got home from a weekend trip and found a wonderful Raven/Poe card in the mail....LOVE it. Have always loved your Poe theater, often thought about trying to make one myself but even though I try to channel my inner MW I also try not to copy and TRY to be original. A tough call sometimes.
I have been trying to get to the post office for a couple of weeks now to get some stuff mailed...I'll try again Monday, see if I am successful. Watch your mail.
Until later,
Judy

LOVE! As you know, I'm rather fond of Mr. Poe myself :) And that theatre is what put us in touch, do you remember? I blogged about seeing that tiny paper Ville in Somerset Studio, and you saw my post.
Really looking forward to that The Raven movie. Such a shame it's coming out in the Spring and not in October, though.

Hello Michelle,
a happy halloween from Belgium !
Coincidence you are talking about the Poe challenge of Stampington ?...
I read yesterdayevening about the challenge in the latest somerset and I am considering to send in two things I made : a fat ATC and a tag I just made...:)
I was too late to renew my subscription and so I missed this issue in my postbox ! I only recieve the new somerset in january...:(
Strolling through my friends somerset magazine yesterdayevening I noticed some pages... hmmm... this looks like work from...? Exactly... YOU !!! Love the spraywork and the stenciluse on the recycled papers !!
Now, I MUST have this issue ! Luckily I can backorder issues :)
I remember all your Poecreations and Ville ...:) I have these magazines too and past year I bought the paperdoll book too.
I love how you created these detailed theaters.
I don't have a "complete" halloween this year, but I'm in the mood.
If you want to know how I spend my halloween, feel welcome at my latest blogpost :)
Enjoy your evening !
greetings from Belgium
Inge
