OK, so it's not a real tattoo, and it's not a real albino pumpkin either. I opted for the fakes this year. Spent most of yesterday's free time working on this one. There is something so relaxing and rewarding about drawing, especially when there is no agenda, just random markmaking.
We had an increased number if trick-or-treaters this year! Love when the neighborhood is filled with children, wagons, parents, teens...all happily navigating the streets and sidewalks around piles of fallen branches and trees from the recent snow storm. Not much white stuff left. Just memories of another fabulous holiday, enjoyed by our family. It was the year of big hats.....

You did a beautiful job on the pumpkins. I have been decorating fake pumpkins for the last several years but since my drawing skills are lacking…I like to say that when God was handing out "drawing skills" I was distracted and went to the "likes glitter" line twice, skipping the "drawing" line entirely! Anyway, I use rub-ons and rhinestone swirls like those from Prima on my pumpkins.
Unlike your neighborhood, ours was really slow this year. I bought wayyyyyy too much candy. We usually have nonstop kids, wagons, trackers, hayrides, kids kids kids dads. This year there were lots of kids but far fewer than previous years and I am stuck with a ton of candy.

Coolest design on a pumpkin ever! It should be in a magazine. What a fab idea. Margie

They look amazing! We had a very unusually slow holiday in our neighborhood. Normally we get slammed.....lots of leftovers today. :(

In Poland we do not have strong Halloween traditions. It came to us few years ago and still is not very popular. In Poland there is All Saints' Day on November 1st and polish tradition is, that everyone in that day visits one's beloved ones on cemetery. There is an ocean of lights on each cemetery in this day. Differences between nations are very interesting :)
The pumpkin is just fabulous!!! Your drawings are perfect :)

Love the pumpkins. They are very inspiring - as in I want to make one! I'm sure it won't be as pretty as yours but I have to start somewhere.

Love that pumpkin! I might have to steal your idea next year... if I remember it by then ;)
Great hats, too. Mad Hatter is a personal favorite of mine.

Oops, P.S. I just realized that the pumpkins kind of remind me of Ville's left arm sleeve tattoo :)

Amazing pumpkins...hope you plan to keep them for future Halloweens! Also love the hats you pictured, are they ones you guys wore yourselves, or displayed, or were they worn by others just by coincidence?
