REMINDER: Registration for Valley Ridge Art Studio Workshops starts on Saturday, January 14th at 9:00 a.m. Central Standard Time.
We've been watching season three episodes of Castle on dvd, which includes my favorite, "Last Call". It ends with a fabulous scene, if you missed it click HERE. Piano Man is one of those songs that you love to sing along to isn't it? So you can imagine I cracked myself up when preparing this blog post as a reminder that registration for Valley Ridge opens at nine o'clock this Saturday. (FYI: it's 9:00 a.m. CST)
The phrase hasn't left the soundtrack running in my mind and I'm guessing if you take a listen it will stay with you too....and will be a fun reminder to register at 9 or whatever time it is in your zone this Saturday morning. A live version of Piano Man by Billy Joel HERE, or in tandom with Elton John on the Tonight Show below.
EDIT: *smacks head*, it begins at 9:00 Central Standard Time....I revised from previosuly posted PST.
Hope to see you in Wisconsin in October. There are many fabulous class offerings by stellar instructors at VRAS this season, visit the site to check it out. ValleyRidgeArtStudio.com

Good morning Michelle!
So exciting!!!! I have made the commitment to be there. It is at the top of my to-do list for 2012! Your workshops are SO worth every penny, I know I will have to stop spending and start saving! Can't wait!!!!
Until later,
Judy
PS - the song is still playing in my head.

Castle is the best. And that was my favorite sceen. #2 being two sceens from the "scooby doo" episode and him dressed as himself in firefly for Halloween. Each weekend as the early arrivals of the housekeeping staff arrive I sing that to myself. Of course I mean 9 am on a saturday. The regular crowd shuffles in because they haven't quite nailed the yawn and stretch and try to come to life part of the morning :D
I love seeing how your brain makes connections.

I love that episode of Castle too. Oh, how I wish I had wings and could fly over to come and play in your class! I am sure you and your students will have a wonderful inspiring time. Will be with you all in spirit:)

Cathie LOVES that show!
I don't watch serial dramas because I have a missing brain part or something (except I loved House for four whole seasons--a true mutation for me), but that Filian guy. Come ON! He could stand still and I'd stare with my mouth hanging open. Have you seen the film The Waitress? V. Nice. Anyway, my point being, YES, this is a great song, and had it not been for this post I would not have seen that clip and Cathie and I would not have giggled. See how you bring people together?
Sincerely,
She who doth commenteth long.
