Drum roll please.........the Top Hat Pick for Crusade No. 20 is Maj Carita Hoenborg from Germany! Hopefully you have already visited her site....the girl made three posts for this challenge with some really terrific castings HERE, HERE, and HERE. A bit of interesting background of Maj as a Crusader: I met her via my main blog when I posted about Grave Dirt. She's the first person to send me some!! Later she officially joined the Street Team during No. 6 by sharing photos via flickr. THEN, a really cool thing happened....I had just posted No. 10 which was about mail art, and a box arrived from Maj. She sent real life entries for ALL previous Crusades (1 through 9) but because it was in a cool box, it counted as 10 too! You can see my blog post about it HERE. And then she started her blog (finally!) and has participated since No. 15! So a big congrats to Maj who is an awesome team player and a very sweet friend!
Thanks to all of you who took the time to play along this month and share your experiences with paper casting. We've seen so many beautiful handcrafted elements - and many of you even showed how you incorporated the casts into your work. I love that you are embracing making your own stuff from scratch. Did you ever think toilet paper would be an important studio supply?!!
If you are like me, your stamps (and stencils from the month before) are still out on the work table. No need to clean up - we'll be using them again this month. I'm preparing the Crusade right now....check in later tomorrow.
Congrats again to Maj!!!
