Celebrating Earth Day was different when the kids were little. There was always something going on at the elementary schools to help them appreciate this planet we share. We don't participate in those activities any more, but I am proud the kids have grown to respect the importance of recycling. Today I was in the yard and gave a prayer of thanks for our green grass, beautiful trees, and blooming rose bushes.
It was a terrific weekend spent with girlfriends....no incriminating photos, just the evidence that our hostess knows how to pick the right place to eat.
