Third snowfall in less than three weeks. First 22", then 3", and now I'm guessing 10". Very beautiful. Kids got the day off - yay! Love my neighbors. Rob and Lisa blow the snow and lay the salt. MaryEllen and Mark permit Peter to park in their drive. We all gather to sweep off the cars, clear the sidewalks and driveways, and enjoy the company of being-in-it-together.
Warming up after with toast and cocoa....my toes are stinging....wondering what to do with this *free* day. There is a long list of things I should do, but a snow day always trumps the list doesn't it? I'm thinking....I may indulge in making my own slider art. What's that you say? Check out this....we discovered Jay and Marilyn at Chelsea Market during the Jingle thing. He makes the coolest sliding art. AND he sells kits too. Visit their site at www.morphicism.com.
Seriously, can you stand how clever this is? Gotta get it hung up this week. I went out of my mind swooning when I realized what he was onto....I love movable art. I did a turning piece a few years ago....remember this one? So I nearly fainted when I learned Jay had kits too - what a generous offering. I'm off to start rolling out my ideas. Stay safe and warm.
